Needles & Magnifiers

Four types of Ballet Sterile disposable needles are available:

Stainless Steel -- Made from Swedish stainless steel and micro-polished to a mirror-like finish. These EOG sterilized needles are individually packed in an easy-to-open blister package.

Gold Plated -- for those customers who can benefit from a hypo-allergenic needle for reduced skin reaction, the 24 karat gold coating provides the finest conductivity and the smoothest insertions possible.

Insulated -- a thin medical grade insulation covers the shannk of the needle and concentrates the energy at the uninsulated tip.

Tel -- designed specifically for treating telangiectasia

Available in three shank sizes:

T shank -(.020" diam.)- fits Hinkel one piece tapered needle holders. Specify stainless steel or gold plated.

F shank -(.050" diam.)- fits two piece needle holders. Specify stainless, gold plated or insulated.

K shank -(.028" diam.)-

Ballet needles are available in diameters .002" to .006" (K and F shanks) and in sizes A, B, and C (small or medium diameters) for T shank tapered probes.

Take your choice: clip-on for those who wear glasses, frame magnifiers, or headband style for those who don't.

Since increased magnification requires that you work closer to the subject and therefore increases strain on the back and neck, use the least amount of magnification that is required.
